The word "Stress", which is so common in this era of hustle and bustle. We all know that nowadays stress is increasing day by day and learning to manage your stress is the key to keep yourself healthy and well. When you are under stress, you need special attention and care because you are in a state of duress and anxiety – both of which are highly unhealthy for you.

DIY Tips to Reduce StressHere are some tips which I personally follow to reduce Stress and I hope they will also help you to reduce your stress level :








  1. Spend some time to organize yourself: It is the first thing which comes in my mind when I am feeling low or stressed. I don't know why but I just start organizing my stuff. I clean all my wardrobes and sometimes I rearrange my room setting. It just give me certain kind of peace or God knows what. But it really works for me. Try this tip and let me know how you feel after doing this.
  2. Start your day with positive mind: when you are positive from the start, it will just help you to deal with all negativity or things that will come your way during the whole day. So, start your day on good notes (read positive blogs or quotes).
  3. Do not Procrastinate: I don't know why but I have realized that when I do things regularly and do not procrastinate any work; it just gives me a kick  ;) and I feel confident. You can try this too and let me know how you feel.
  4. Plan out your meals: You know when you plan your meal keeping all health facts in mind, you will get positive results. And trust me, it not only maintain your bodily health but also your brain will get benefited. Food really plays an important role in cooling(balancing) our mind. 
  5. Maintain Proper Nutrition: As I mentioned above about planing meals, you need to be careful to chose the right food for yourself (according to your weight or body type). And make sure you add all the nutritious food to your daily diet plan (which includes juices, veggies shakes and all other healthy stuff like that).
  6. Find Hobbies: Our hobbies can help us in releasing stress. So, find your hobby or hobbies, it could be any game, it could be cooking or dancing or writing or knitting or tailoring or reading or watching something. In short, it could be anything you are good at or anything which you love doing. Just start doing that regularly, it will make you happy and fulfilled.
  7. Exercise Regularly: Exercise regularly to burn off your stress (coz when you exercise, your body releases Endorphins, which are hormones that fight stress). So, start doing exercises and it's not necessary to do hard core exercises. You can start with easy ones and then go for the hard ones.
  8. Do Yoga and Meditation: Yoga and mediation are my life and trust me once you will start doing them, your life will transform into another level.
  9. Get Plenty Sleep: Take enough rest at night, it will help your body as well as your mind. And you will feel more energetic after a good night sleep on the following day.
  10. Keep Your Mind Sharp: Do read or do something which will keep your mind sharp.
  11. Do something nice for someone else: Start doing something for others. You could start it from your friends and family and later you can help other people too. Buy stuff for others, give presents, give what you know somebody wants and could not afford it. The feeling of giving itself is so soothing. 
  12. Arrange a giveaway: Trust me, you will feel better. You can giveaway all your excess or extra stuff that you have. There are organization who can help you with this or else you can go by yourself to giveaway things to the needy people. It will not only make your house clutter-free but also make you feel more peaceful.
  13. Do some creative things: Start doing creative work which you love or ever wanted to do or you are good at. Just start doing it and trust me it will help you immensely to reduce stress in the long run.
  14. Take a Walk or Just Run: Start taking walk in the morning and evening or whenever you are free. It will recharge your mind and body. I personally feel happy after I go for a walk or run. So, try that!
  15. Listen To Good Music: Music also has its soothing effect on our mind as well as on our body. So, listen to the music which you love.
  16. Laugh as much as you can: Start enjoying things that you have and laugh as much as you can daily. Spread the love and laugh all around you!
  17. Reduce Caffeine Intake or alcohol intake.
  18. Make time for friends and family: Spend sometime with the people you love, it will make you happy right away.
  19. Have Chocolates ;) 
  20. Drink Green Tea: This is my one of personal favorites too. So, try it out.
  21. Enjoy Aromatherapy or Thai Massage: Go for aroma therapy or Thai Massage. It will relax your body and mind. 
  22. Last but not the least, Start Loving Yourself. I have always believed that one can love and respect others only if he or she loves and respects herself/himself and this is quite true too. So, just start loving yourself. You are more than enough in every way!!
These above DIY Tips to Reduce Stress are very useful for those who wanna stay Happy and Healthy in the long run. Always remember that if you can’t be happy with your own self, just forget that anybody else can make you happy...Not Gonna happen Dear....

So,  just try to stay happy and try to cherish each and everything that you have because somewhere out there is definitely someone who does not have even half of the things which you have.

Trust me, we all have a fair amount of things we want. So, look at the positive side and start living graciously. I Hope above tips will help you to reduce your stress level and make you happy!
